• Surfaces disinfected: Every workstation, tray, and armrest is wiped with hospital-grade disinfectant before and after each client.
• Single-use only: Needles, gloves, and gauze are used once and disposed of immediately in biohazard containers.

Step 2: Jewelry Sterilization

Every piece of jewelry we use is sterilized in an autoclave, a machine that uses pressurized steam to eliminate bacteria, viruses, and spores.

• Temperatures reach over 270°F (132°C) for total sterilization.
• Each piece is sealed in a sterile pouch and opened only in front of you.
• We log every autoclave cycle daily for accountability and safety tracking, and test the autoclave weekly through a medical company. 

Step 3: Skin Prep & Placement

Before piercing, your piercer becomes a mini scientist. We start by cleansing your skin with a gentle antiseptic solution that kills surface bacteria without irritating your skin.

1. Mark placement carefully: using sterilized, single-use dots.
2. Check symmetry: you approve everything in the mirror, it’s your body, your choice.
3. Confirm anatomy suitability: ensuring your piercing heals comfortably and beautifully.

Every step is performed with fresh gloves and sterile tools. No shortcuts, ever.

Step 4: The Piercing Process

When everything is sterile and you’re ready:

• A new, single-use needle (never a gun) is opened from its sterile package.
• Jewelry is loaded aseptically, meaning it never touches anything non-sterile.
• The piercing is performed swiftly and precisely, minimal trauma, maximum sparkle.

Step 5: Post-Piercing Clean-Up

After your piercing, all materials are disposed of properly, and the workstation is sanitized before the next appointment. You’ll leave with a fresh saline spray recommendation and an aftercare guide to support your healing at home.
